I need some help. I have a 2010 F 150 xlt. It was time for new tires, so I bought some new take offs from a 2014 FX4. My Tire Pressure light was on so I Took my truck to the dealer to see if they could reset the baseline Tire pressure. Their VCM crapped out while it was hooked up to my truck, triggered a ton of codes, now my truck won't start. It has been sitting in their shop since last Thursday. They say they are trying to work with the ford engineers to figure it all out. What the hell is going on? I paid them $50 to reset my baseline tire pressure (which they couldn't do BTW). They should cover whatever costs are associated with getting it going again right?

There was absolutely nothing wrong with my truck when I brought it in there other than the Low Tire Pressure Light.

 

They should be liable for fixing your truck, if they are capable of doing so that is. LOL.
