Default Lithium jump starter

I just had the opportunity to observe a Battery Tender brand lithium jump starter in use. I was shocked because it actually worked. I'm definitely going to buy that type of jump starter but need to do research, first.

Amazon sells the Battery Tender 1000A peak 8Ah for $70. Noco sells one with similar specs they describe as adequate for 6L gas and 3L diesel engines for $85.

For those of you who own one (any brand), can you describe your experience with jump start performance, holding a charge, and recharging? What size is yours, and what size engine have you started with it?

Thanks

I have the Noco version (think it's the one you mention) and I've used it 5 times without having to recharge it. They're pretty amazing little boxes!

I work at Manheim Auto Auction and we use the NoCo boxes. They get a real workout here as half the junk we get needs a jump every time we move from storage to a shop to the sale line. This includes big V8 Diesels. A box works hard all day and we charge them all overnight.

I bought one for myself.

What Lithium technology do they use? Are they safe to store in a hot trunk for months at a time? I'd have no concerns with a LiFePO4 battery but I don't know if that's what they use
