Default Leaf Spring Thoughts and Options

Just picked up my new (to me) 2007 F-150 Lariat with 5.4 Triton. 140k miles, truck seems really solid! I have been taking time familiarizing myself with the new rig, combing through it, and doing some maintenance. I am curious for thoughts on these leaf springs. I bought the truck mainly for a 2,000mi road trip to haul my motorcycle next month, so I need this truck to be safe and reliable. I have future plans to get a car hauler, so I will be putting this truck to work. More reason to just get new springs while I am at it..?

If we all agree these should be replaced, what options are recommended? There seems to be a lot of different spring rating options. I see my current springs are 2 over 1 (1,500lbs??) The capacity options confuse me... Would really appreciate some direction on these. The truck has a leveling kit, but the previous owner said they did not install anything in the rear.. I see a spacer though? If I am replacing these springs, should I get a 2" lift spring and get rid of the spacer?

Thanks in advance!!

Those spacers come on 4X4 trucks. I'd probably leave them in, since they incorporate the bump stop pad. The springs themselves are probably fine, unless you can see any cracks. Looks like they're getting a little tired though? Since you plan on doing some heavier towing/hauling in the future, I'd probably replace them with a 3 main leaf pack if you're going to replace them, but I can also live with a slightly harsher ride. Some others don't like a harsher ride.
