Ford can’t give me an eta for a lead frame for 2016 f-150. How long have people been waiting? I’m hearing 6-12 months

I have a 2012. Ordered mine online through Ford and selected my local dealer to pick it up. Ordered Feb 17th. The dealer emailed to get my vin and mileage for the recall. Called the dealer the next day to see if they needed any additional info and he said I was over the warranty mileage. He said there was 1700 orders in the network but only 900 parts. Couldn't give me an ETA. I told him it was not drivable due to the p0722 code and it wouldn't shift. He says he would email ford to try and get me moved up the list. Ford emailed back that they were sorry but no ETA. Then the dealer emailed on Feb 23rd and said Ford sent my part and it was ready to pick up. Not sure what changed to get it so fast. Less than a week. I installed it over the weekend and all is good.

 

Took my 2015 to dealer Wednesday this week, informed me lead frame needed replacing, had in inventory. Picked up truck next day
