Default Knocking sound underneath engine

Hey all, so i have a 99/00 triton 5.4L F150 which recently shut off while driving. At first it would not crank over at all so i thought it was a bad battery or starter or even alternator.eventually i got it running but there was a very loud knocking sound coming from the bottom half, i took a closer look and check where the sound could be coming from and it sounded like the bottom of the oil pan!!! is it possible i could have spun a bearing??? and what kind main bearing or rod? Also when i pull the dipstick i can see small and shiny fragments off what could possibly metal.

Any ideas i would greatly appreaciate thanks...
