hey everyone,
first time on the forum. got a question. i have a 2001 F-150 4.2 V6 4x4 automatic flareside. as i drive my truck, about once to twice a minute it makes a loud ping under the cab. it rides find. i am haveing some troubles with the engine fire. it sometimes has a sputter in it. but that problem has been around for a while. ran sea foam through it a couple of times. full tune up. i even just put brand new catylitic converters on it. but the ping is new and it kinda worries me. its not affect the performance of the truck...... yet. any ideas?
