IWE or Transfer case?
2017 3.5 King ranch 4x4 F150
Here is my problem and I hope someone here can help me out.
I have a slight grinding noise intermittently when slowing down from 10-0 or so. It does sound like the typical IWE problem these vehicles have. I just replaced my font hub due to a bad bearing and everything looked clean and no markings on the IWE. I replaced the check valve and solenoid that everyone suggested too. I have done negative pressure tests on the IWE, all vacuum lines and had no leaks. The noise has been happening for about 3 months. Has anyone here had where the IWE held a vacuum but the IWE was still bad? Is there anything I missed on the IWE diagnostic I can try, is it possible my front dif has an issue?
