Default IWE systems

So far i've seen a ton of issues with this system, anyone have an idea of how many truck/suv have had this issue. Went to my STEALER, they said that this will be a 3K bill, new hubs, vac lines, etc. Just wondering if I have a case against ford for a faulty system, or it is just not made properly for Canadian Winters. They told me that this all happened because water got into the vac line and froze. I LIVE IN WINNIPEG IT GETS COLD here, how could water get in a sealed line!!!!!!!!!!

Thx in advance for your replys

its true to reason the system fails is because of water, but ive never heard of anyone getting the system covered from ford because of this. the new iwe solenoid has a rain hat to try and prevent water from entering the system again. we usually replace the solenoid and the actuators
