Default IWE problem!

I checked the driver side iwe and it works fine" spins the tire without spinning the half shaft when truck is running" but the passenger side still stays engaged " moves the half shaft when truck is running" I noticed the 3 bolt on the back of the hub removed them and I didn't really wanna mess around with it to much seeing that it was dusk, but I want to know what's involved in removing that acuator , and do you need a special socket to take of the axels , it's a 2008 f-150 . I put the hub back it and put the calliper back on started the truck again and left the axle nut loose and pushed it in spun the wheel , wheel moved freely , would u agree bad actuator? . How much suction from the vacum do u need to have , because I have quite a bit prolly 15 psi. The truck has a loud hum , and I'm thinking its the iwe any info would be great thx

I would say it's the IWE, if it has 254 mm or 10 inches of vaccum it's supposed to be good. 3 bolts hold it on to the knuckle off hand I forget what size, but when you go to reinstall it you need to install it onto the halfshaft first. Also compress the IWE and put a vaccum cap onto the port to hold it in.

Removing the upper control arm and outer tie rod out of the knuckle should give you enough room to pop the half shaft out off the hub.
