Default Intermittent A/C

2018 Expedition Max Platinum with Dual zone, heated and cooled seats has an intermittent problem on the A/C side for the main dash system. On a hot day the A/C fails after 30-45 mins, you feel a drop in airflow but still hear the fan in the dash. Sounds like it’s still on high and that it changed to defrost. Very little if any airflow from any vents in the dash with what you do feel to still be cool. Rear A/C seems to still run fine and I believe the seat coolers still work. I added a can of the proper Freon when this started. After car is parked for 20 mins runs fine again for 30-45 mins.

Anyone with similar problems find a solution?

Welcome, could be that the system is low on refrigerant not freon. You need to have it correctly checked for leaks, evacuated and recharged. Since you have a front and rear, you most likely are in need of more refrigerant since it sounds like it may be freezing up.
