Instrument Cluster
Cluster Swap
I swapped out my F150 2005 FX 4 because some of the needles stopped working for another used one with lower mileage and I was wondering is it necessarily a must to take it to the dealer to get the new one "flashed" if I don't mind about the mileage? It's actually lower, In other words is there anything necessary that I would need off my old cluster besides the mileage?
Thanks in advance

There is no data stored in the cluster except the mileage which acts like a digital clock. Unless you're concerned about the discrepancy in mileage for maintenance issues, you should be good to go.
