I have a 2016 F150 with the 5.0
When coming to a stop the rpm will drop down and it starts idling rough and then quits. Starts right back up. Does not do it all the time may go days or weeks in between. Have no check engine light on. Have replaced throttle body and the vct SOLENOID. Had a guy tell me it could be the vapor canister purge valve but idk...im clueless!! Please Help!!

 

check for loose plugs/wires

 

I would buy or borrow a scan tool and monitor your live data as you drive and see what exactly is occuring. First make there are no pending codes present.

 

did the purge valve work for you? same issue here
