Default Identify this part on rear brake caliper

Hi all,

Did a brake fluid flush/bleed yesterday, and saw this on rear calipers.

Can anyone tell me what this part is for?

Thanks

I believe djfllmn because of his background - otherwise I'd say no way.

Is it attached to the caliper bolt?

Scott91370, it is on/part of one of the caliper bolts.

Is that a "factory" part, or something the previous owner would have installed "aftermarket"? Anyone else have them on their trucks?

Thanks

It's factory (and in the service manual).
