Default HVAC issue

I have a 2013 F-150 XLT 4x4 a few days ago my blower motor stopped working as in it did not run at all.. After doing reading I determined that the first place I’d start was replace the blower motor resistor. I replaced the blower motor resistor. The issue now is that the blower motor is stuck on high. It doesn’t matter if the system is on or off or what speed i set the fan to the fan stays on the same speed. I am able to control other functions like temperature and which vents the air comes out of but the blower stays on constantly. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I'm having a very similar issue as you with my 2013....replaced the blower and resistor and I'm stuck on high....now the vent selector doesn't work...hopefully someone here has some input. Good Luck!!

I just saw a video where a guy replaced the resistor with some aftermarket brand and it didn't work. It was a Nissan. Even today's blower motors are computer controlled. Pulse width modulation. Cool, but complex.
