Default How to replace rotors?

Hey guys ive never replaced my own rotors before but my truck has a bad vibration when i press my brakes so im going to replace them and i want to do it myself. My truck is a 2004 F150 (new body style) with a 5.4. I know you just take the caliber off and then slide the rotor off. My question is is how do you get the caliber off and is that all you have to do? Thanks for the help

That's how you do it if it's a 4x4. 2x4 you need to remove the big nut to get the rotor off. The caliper is attached w/ 2 bolts.

Default you know what to do

just take it to your certified mechanic right up the hill aprox. a mile from the gate to the tracker... you better do it soon of it might go "cluck cluck... POW." and tell em he needs to chip that slag off that gate while your up there.

Default rotor swap

please , read online but get the book, a ~$10 book will head off $100s of problems. the book will tell you what the facts are, lots of online sources may give you great tips but are not proof read & fact checked.

One of the tire shops around here is advertising "on vehicle" rotor truing.
Checked that out yet ?
