I just bought a 2004 fx4 with a 5.4 v8. I love the truck! However I want to go ahead and change out every filter and fluid on the truck just for my own ease of mind. I am getting estimates in the $500 to $600 range. I feel with some guidance I could do all this myself. Any recommendations for books?

 

I'd suggest getting a Haynes, Chiltons or a Factory service manual for starters. Factory manuals are more expensive but provide more detail. Good to see you want to take care of your truck!
