Default hose on transfer case

So I was crawling around looking for the small fuel leak I have and noticed on the front side of the transfer case there is a black hose that has split and looks like some fluid/(oil) has leaked out. What does this hose go to? Thanks, Chris

Default hose on dif

I just replaced the hoses on my diffs. They vent air from the differnetial. There should be a check valve on the end of the hose. This valve is supposed to let air out but not in or something close to that. you will prolly need to change your diff oil if you have submerged the axle(s) and you had water go in through those hose cracks in the hose.
