2012 Screw eco 69000 miles, I was doing 80 on the turnpike when out of nowhere my truck downshifted into 1st. Tires locked up and I could of swore the motor was going to blow. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this?

 

Jesus...! How did you manage to not lose control and die? Lucky day, my friend..

 

It locked up for about 20-30 ft, then my rpm tach pinned and I just rode it off to the shoulder. I'm just thankful it was early Sunday morning, not during rush hour on a Friday lol
