hesitating during acceleration

hesitating during acceleration

My 2001 F 150 4.6L is hesitating during acceleration. It starts and idols fine, then during acceleration and cruising speed it hesitate and sputters, this only happens intermittingly and there is no check engine light on. Any ideas?

When was the last time you had the plugs changed? Had that issue when I test-drove my my truck- had dealer replace plugs and all was fine.
