Help with rounded off nut

Best photo I could do, stripped nut in question. All is not lost. Just waiting on the extractors to get here.

How about double-nutting on those good threads and removing the stud itself?

Those are welded to the top of the spring seat or if it is the level block probably a bolt threaded in from the bottom up.

Yes, it's welded, IIRC. Those are Rancho Quicklift coilovers I'm taking off. At the least, that stud is a press fit like the lower studs on the OEM struts. Good thought though.

Success! Got my set of extractors today, and got the rounded off nut removed, and the coilovers removed.
I strongly suggest any of you guys that work on your truck, get a set of these. No clue why I never bought these years ago.

Looking at what’s left a nut buster may have been difficult to use. Glad it’s off in the rear view now.
