Got a rattle inside the driver side door, sounds like aluminum foil crunching together!!!! Had the panel off the door several times and cannot find the problem. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!

 

If it were me I would take the interior paneling off of the door and drive the vehicle in a residential area to see if it still does it, if not then more than likely it has something to do with the door paneling. If thats not it then I would have to say its probably something inside the frame of the door itself but who knows for sure, its just trial and error.

 

Hey man not sure what year truck you have but its probably something to do with the door panel or the door clips. I had this problem with my 88. I had to replace my door clips on the panel because some of them broke when I removed the panels to replace the speakers.

Hey, Flash; Had a rattle I couldn't locate in the rear drivers side door on my '99 F250 Super Duty. Tried all the usual stuff, pulled off the door panels and had someone else drive over bumps while I listened, then we switched places and neither of us could pinpoint the source, tried padding different pieces of hardware inside the door, no luck. Finally discovered several broken spot welds between the inner & outer skin of the door broken causing the rattle. Re-welded the spot welds & gave them a shot of touch up paint and all was quiet again!
