ok i got a 1998 f-150 4x4 4.6l. Today i got in it to go to work stuck key in ignition door dinger started dingin(door was still open). Turned the key guages all zeroed out and lost power then this relay under the dash started clicking bout every 10secs or so. Tried to turn key again dont have anything. I opened the hood unhooked the battery to reset the ecm hooked it back up the relay had stopped but as soon as i put the key in the egnition i lost everything again didnt even turn it this time i need suggestions where to look thanks and yes my battery is good

 

Come on somebody with something logical plz. Ive checked everything i can come up with anyone possibly think it could be alarm or something, if so is there a way to bypass it like a series of locking and unlocking the door or something

 

check fuses.

 

does your truck key have a chip in it?
