Default HELP!!! Heater problems

Hey Guys!!!
Need a little help here, here is the situation. The heat on my 2002 F150 will not stay hot when in the warm position. Initially it will be hot but then drop down to about the temperature of your breath. Here are the things that I have checked for so far.

1. Changed and flushed the system (pressurized)

2. Removed heater hoses and flushed (pressurized) heater core, no plugs.
Heater hoses are hot.

3. Removed and replaced heater blend door actuator although the other still worked just fine.

4. Blend door moved fine manually by rotating it with my fingers. No plastic parts fell when removing the actuator. Everything appeared to be functioning fine with it.

Here is the kicker. If I manually close the blend door (leaving the actuator disconnected) I have plenty of heat (in the floor position). The moment that I hook up the actuator then change the selection from Floor to Defrost I lose probably 50% of my heat. If I turn it back to the floor setting its the same, 50% heat loss. What the heck am I missing here???? What should I change next????

If I disconnect everything and go back to manually closing the blend door then repeating I get the same thing everytime. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Ken.

Already thought of that one too...Forgot to list it.

The vehicle is running at normal operating temperature.

I hate to say this BUT it is a cracked socket on the bottom of the Blendoor. This has a major issue with several generation trucks. You identified this by manually closing the Blendoor and getting heat. When the actuator puts pressure on the cracked plastic it takes a second before the door is pushed back by the airflow before you lose heat. The Dorman replacement Blendoor has a metal ring that prevents this in the future.
Hear's the kicker. You have to pull the entire dash board to get to the A/C-heater box to fix this. I did this last year. Check out U-Tube for more information of the door issues
