Default Help

I have a 2006 ford f150 with a 5.4 the truck is missing and I replaced the coils and plugs and injectors all with ford parts. It has gotten better but still has a miss that is noticeable at idle but can't tell going down the road

have you checked the Mass air flow sensor inside the airbox? I seen that before and the sensor could have trash on it that you can't see take off the sensor and clean it real good and let it dry put back in and see what happens maybe that will help, not saying thats the problem but may be part of it

My 2007 5.4 was an issue for a while with the rough idle. Shop replaced MAF sensor and it made a big difference. A year later it was the a/c compressor dragging down the engine. That was about 3 years ago and engine has been strong with proper idle since.
