Default Help!

I was trying to replace the tps on my F150 and one of the screws broke off flush with the hole in the throttle body. I used a screw extractor to get it out then that broke off and is stuck. Have tried tapping it out and don't know what else to do. I have read suggestions about taking it to a machine shop but would like to see if anyone had any other suggestions before I do that. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Have you tried drilling it out?

yes. we tried that as well. Once the extractor got stuck that was almost impossible to drill into. Its too hard for the bit to drill through.

Yea. Sounds like you can either get a new throttle body or take your chance at a machine shop to drill and retap.
