HI
New to these groups, perhaps someone here can offer some advice. Restoring a 1996 F250 pickup which I recently purchased. Lots of hail damage and minor dents, I replaced the headlamps but am having an issue with alignment. Left side facing the headlamp I have a gap on the right side between the trim bezel and the headlamp, I can put my index finger through it. Tried everything I can think of but can't get the lamp to move. Any thoughts what I may have done wrong or how to move that lamp to the right.
The headlamp housing & the headlamp door (the black trim around it that carries the turn & marker lights) are attached to the grill opening reinforcement (the plastic part that spans the front of the truck). The door has very little adjustment at its 2 studs & 2 screws. The headlamp is only designed to be adjusted fore-aft at its 3 mounting points. The outboard upper point sets its position relative to the side marker; the outboard lower sets the vertical aim; the inboard point sets the horizontal aim.
