Default Having a small throttle issue
Hey guys. I just bought a 87 lariat. Runs great ut when I let off the gas mostly around 45 my rpms do this up down kinda thing. Imagine hitting your breaks and gas at the same time any ideas on how to fix I haven't done anything to it yet it's got a 2.3 v8

I've never heard of a 2.3 V-8.

Vacuum leak or EGR valve not working properly are my two guesses.
Those 2 cause erratic idle. EGR may cause high idle but it's been a long time.
