While I respect someone's right to do what they want with their own vehicle, being how much these things costs, this is not welcomed advice on this site. We've seen the other side of this, where a good guy (or gal) buys a used or certified pre-owned truck and has countless problems with it, where there was obvious abuse by the previous owner.

Shop called and said it's covered. All they did was change the plugs and blamed it on 93 octane, which makes zero sense and is why I hate messing with dealerships. So I brought up the oil inside the intercooler and he said to give him 20-30 minutes to check into it...
They called back and said some oil was normal the way the PCV and all is plumbed, long as its not a quart of oil or anything crazy. So there you have it.

Yea going to run the stock tuning daily. Only time I'll ever use the hotter tunes will be for a pass here and there. I may have got a hold of some bad gas, which is always a risk when running aftermarket tuning. That's just a guess. On the other hand It could've been nothing more than the tune itself. If it does it again on the stock tuning I'll report it back to y'all.

Me beginning to think something hotter than premium got ran in this truck, is this possible? You sure sound disappointed, while most would be relieved??? Just asking.

NO idea where the dealer is getting this 93 octane theory. Makes zero sense....unless that was code for don't run a tune on this thing anymore lol

Glad it went well, seems there might be something to the catch can thing a lot of people talk about in the forum, I'd look into it seeing how your truck might benefit from it, it collects excess pcv gasses.
