Question Got me stumped

Hey everybody,
I've got an 08 F150 with the 4.6 that died on me on my way home from work, and this ones got me stumped. Just to have it on the record I replaced the alternator exactly 1 week before it died (Doubt they're related issues). Anyway I was driving in light traffic, and came to a stop light. As I left from said stop light I turned slightly and realized there was no power steering. In less than a few seconds the gauges all dropped to nothing followed not more than 2 seconds later with the truck shutting off. Before all the gauges had dropped they all read good (oil pressure, engine temp, etc) and yes there is fuel. However first thing I checked was was the oil and low and behold there was next to nothing. I added oil but still nothing. symptoms are the fuel pump still turns on, and engine cranks when I turn the key but wont start. No codes are thrown either. Thanks for taking time to read through this lengthy thing, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say double check the alternator and battery...loosing oil pressure I would of said check oil pressure sending unit... The part that I am wondering where did your oil go? Are you having any oil leaks? If not I say make sure you don't have a cracked head.. No oil leaking into the Transmission fluid. I hope this will help you.

Did you happen to notice if the serpentine belt was still on?
