Default getting to the lamps in the dash

What is the best way of getting to the lamps which back light the instrument cluster on my 1995 F150. reach in from under the dash or remove something for access. Again my manual is not clear on this subject.

Get yourself a Haynes, or Chilton's repair manual. I have the Haynes and it is very descriptive. You basically have to remove the front of the dashboard, the area behind the windshield, then remove the instrument cluster and you should be able to see the bulbs to replace them.

That was the super-quick instruction list...
For more detailed instructions, see your nearest Haynes repair manual!

Yes I have the Haynes manual and I see the procedure. I am going to wait until is warms up a bit, I know one thing when I do get in there I am going to replace all of the bulbs there.

That sounds like a very good idea! No point having to redo that procedure a few months later...
