Got my first truck a month ago and I am trying to get my stock tip off. Been trying to get off with wrench, pliers, wd40 but it wont come off. I assume I'm doing something wrong. Pretty new to this stuff so was just looking for some help on what I should do. Included a pic.

Looks to me like the clamp nut should just spin right off? I'd just apply more force.

PB Blaster always works for me on clamps. I always put a socket on the nut and give 3-5 raps with a 1lb hammer before attaching a breaker bar. Still won't budge? Propane torch the nut and try to loosen while hot,
