I have a big problem i think!! my fuel filter started leaking so i bought a new one and the right tool to remove it well the tube coming out of the filter snapped leaving the piece that locks it in place in the spring lock on the line can't get it to release any ideas

 

If you have enough of the piece of the filter left, just put the tool in the connecter, and grab onto it with needle nose pliers. If you can't get it out, you could just cut the connector off and replace it. It's a much better idea to replace the whole line than just splice something in though.
