My 2012 FX4 SCREW fuel door will not snap shut any longer. My dealer has told me Ford will not warranty this even though I purchased the premium extended warranty package Ford offers. Guess when they say its easier to tell you what it doesn't cover you need to understand what is considered "body" parts........oh-well......steps down from soapbox.

I looked up what i think i need to repair the issue the part number looks like its 27936 Fuel Filler Neck Housing. Not sure if there is anything else I need to order for this repair.......thank you for your help.

 

Just letting anyone else who may break their fuel door hinge the prior post part number is correct part.
The installation was easy just couple of molding tools and out with old in with new. Saved $96.00 on what dealer wanted to charge........whoot!

 

In some other thread in here the OP had the same problem and his dealer changed it on warranty..
