i’ll try to keep it quick last night driving home found out there were some sort of grinding noise underneath the truck , pulled over at a rest stop noticed the front lower splash guard was flopped down along with this red cable dangling down, no warning lights, no issues other than that what could be this cable? Does your truck have an engine block heater? The wire looks like it may be for an engine block heater however this is a guess. You need to secure the splash guard to eliminate the noise.
