Question front end vibration/buzz

I just bought this truck with 70K miles on it. there is a definite vibration/hum/buzz above 40 mph. it feels like I've got big 'ol dirt/mud tires on but they are stock style (and new) the way they make noise. I have noticed that the vibration is greatest when I turn to the right but still there but not as bad when I turn left. driving straight definitely is less noise/vibration. since it is 2WD I'm thinking it might be some kind of brake issue or even bearings. the vibration comes through the steering wheel but there is no shaking or bouncing even under braking. from what I hear the newer trucks have sealed bearings and they don't act the same way as worn-out roller bearings. any additional information would be appreciated before I stuck for an additional grand

my 2005 was doing the same thing. was told a 2 different shops that it was tire ballance .helped but did not cure. the third shop checked it out properly and said the lower ball joints were worn out .they showed me the wear . I told them to replace and align.runs like new. no shakeing.
