well this is a first for me.i changed my oil on my truck last weekend and when i pulled the filter off the hole inside of it was loose and sliding back and forth when i shook it.i called canadian tire where i bought it from,and was told they would get ahold of the fram rep.a week later no reply from canadian tire.so i called fram myself,they said fram would replace the filter if i brought in the old one to show that it was a broken filter.this was the first time in 30 years of doing my own oil changes,that a oil filter fell apart.i have been using fram all this time.and well still keep using them.will let you know what happens with the fram rep.i cant see any problems.
