I have a 05 F150 supercrew. Factory fog lights (rectangle). My right fog light keeps blowing up the bulb. I have 12v and way too many amps. I think it was in the 600 range if I remember correctly. I have checked power and ground and cant seem to find the problem. Can anyone help please? Any idea where to look next?

 

Ha! I'm having the same problem on my 2014 FX4. I bought some high end LED bulbs from Diode Dynamics ($120 for 2 bulbs), and have blown out 2 bulbs in the course of a few weeks! Both times it happened on the drivers side. Of course I painstakingly inspected the OEM wiring coming from the truck and found nothing amiss. DD has been great about sending replacement bulbs, but I never had this problem with the stock bulbs.
