Question Fluid Maintenance

Almost to 60k miles and figure it's time to change some fluids. I can't believe how expensive the LV transmission ($6+/qt) and especially the rear axle Premium Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant XY-75W85-QL is at $22/qt (need 3 qts).

Here is what I show from the owner's manual:
Front Axle: Motorcraft SAE 80W-90 Premium Rear Axle Lubricant XY-80W90 (1.75qt)
Rear Axle: Motorcraft SAE 75W-85 Premium Synthetic Hypoid Gear Lubricant XY-75W85-QL (2.75qt)
Transmission: Motorcraft MERCON LV Automatic Transmission Fluid MERCON LV XT-10-QLVC (13.1 complete change/7qt dropping pan)
Transfer Case with 4A: Motorcraft MERCON LV Automatic Transmission Fluid MERCON XT-10-QLVC (1.5qt)
Transmission Filter: FT-188
Approximate cost for above: $190. Can't imagine what the dealer would charge!

I picked up the replacement pan with a drain plug in it to make future changes less messy as well.
Does this look right? Any thoughts?

I could do the same for half that amount. The only item I would buy from your list is the Motorcraft filter. No way would I buy Motorcraft transmission and gear lubes at those prices. You could buy from the many brands out there which would meet the Ford specifications for your vehicle.Having Motorcraft on the bottle means nothing if manufacturing specs are met from the many choices available at half the price. The Mercon LV is a licensed product, all have to meet certain standards and there are little if any differences of the fluid brands..I like the idea of the drain pan provided the filter gets changed when its supposed to. I wouldn't overlook replacement of the brake fluid if it is still original.

I actually ave brake fluid on my list, I just didn't list it because its DOT4 in LV form which I wasn't as worried about. I will check other brands of the fluids.
I do have the filter as well, worthless to change fluid with out it of course.

Thanks for the input!!

I forgot to ask, which pan did you get? I am thinking of getting one myself for my Grand Marquis.. Since you can only get about half the fluid with a pan drop, I would do a pan drain only with your new pan plug in about a week later, unless you will be disconnecting the cooler line.

Here is the one I got:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F73ZLW3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F73ZLW3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I won't be disconnecting the cooler lines so I will do a partial swap then another later.
