i have a 2005 F 150 FX4 extended cab 5.4. the small display at the bottom of the speedometer that shows mileage, direction, door ajar etc is blinking randomly. there is no pattern to the blinking, it will stop for a seveal seconds then blink again. it is doing it with the motor on and off. it almost seems like a bad conection, hopefully not on the back of the dashboard. i unplugged the battery and PCM but no luck. has anyone experienced this, or have any ideas where I can start looking.
