Default Feels like stuck in 4h?

I own a 2017 5.0L 4x4 and have over the last couple of months noticed not only bad gas mileage but when you let off the accelerator it acts like I'm almost applying the brakes. Curious about it I have shifted to nuetral at highway speeds and problem goes away and coasts like it should.

I didn't see that you wrote back about the code. I do not have any codes but after a lot of snooping around I found out that it isn't the trans at all. Ford uses engine braking to save fuel so on de-acceleration the computer takes fuel away so it feels like what we are experiencing. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to change this but it was suggested to slightly place you foot on the gas pedal to get around it. Hope this helps.
