4.6 triton v8
119k
auto trans

ok the problem im having is the truck seems to shift to soon trying to go uphill or increasing speed in overdrive. does it sometimes in drive live in a hilly area. kinda feels like the tranny is slipping but only does it around fifty five, check engine light came on, checked the code, replaced the egr valve and sensors. reset the sensor and it seemed to work fine for a while then it came back on, ANY IDEAS> ?? THANKS

If you post the exact codes someone would probably be able to assist. Get the codes, do a search on the forum for the codes, and there's probably a help for you. OBD codes can be misleading.

took it back to autozone they tested the code said egr still, but all the egr system has been replaced, i think it might need some anti shuttle in the tranny mechanic i know told me to try it out and he would drive it sunday and hook it up to his genesis machine, and try to figure out the code issue.
