Default Oil leak

I have a 2014 F150 FX4 5.0L

I am leaking oil from my drain plug, not bad only drop about every half hour or so. At first I thought it might be just the gasket so I loosened checked it and re tightened it. But it seems like the plug is free spinning. I was told by the dealership my pan was an obs plastic pan. Do I need to replace the entire pan?

Any help is amazing thank you.

If the bolt is stripped you could replace the pan. On my 2011 5.0 the oil pan is metal. I don't see why it couldn't be drilled out to accept a larger bolt, but seems like the proper method to do that would be for the pan to still come off to get the metal shavings out. I think a new pan is under $100 (I looked ages ago when I was replacing the gasket in the event the oil pan was somehow out of shape)

I thought only the ecoboost's had the plastic pan? My 13 5.0 also has a metal pan.

If you can remove the plug you could use a universal drain plug. Yes, replacing the pan is the right way, tapping the pan for a larger plug would also be great but still recommend pulling the pan for shavings but I have seen these work many times.

If the bolt is stripped then you can just replace the drain bolt. Likely though the pan is plastic as dealer said or aluminum and either is a softer material than the bolt and likely the pan stripped first.
If my vehicle I would go to parts store and buy a new plug and a universal plug. once home I would pull the plug and see which is stripped. If bolt stripped use the new one if pan is stripped use the universal. Then return the one you didn't use. (honestly Id set the one I didnt use on the workbench and forget about it, thats what happened when I had similar issue on a 4wheeler lol)
