Entry pad code

Entry pad code
Is there an easy way to get the factory door code to use the electronic pad on the door. It wasn’t passed to me when I bought the truck in February. The local Ford dealer will do it for $60 they said.

Don't you think it might help if we had SOME idea of what vehicle you're talking about? F150s have been made for closing in on a century; and they've had factory keyless entry for 3 decades. Put it in your signature so it shows under each post, so we don't have to ask again, or go looking for it each time we want to reply to you. The caption of this diagram explains how to collect & organize all the truck's details & history:

I think a scanner can retrieve it. I took my 2005 screw in to a shop to have them check a couple of codes and the guy randomly asked if I knew my key code, I didn't so he was able to look it up and tell me, no charge. Maybe he was just being nice.

Key entry imfo
I’m sorry I was not more specific on the year truck, etc. it’s a 2007 King Ranch. Trying to avoid the charge but would like to have the capability of retrieving keys in the event I have a brain F*rt and shut the door too quickly, as I have done before.

Simply Google the year and door code or key pad code. For many, it's behind the rear seat. For others, it's on the passenger's fuse box behind the kick panel. You'll even find videos.

You can use Forscan to show the code as well.
