Default Engine whining

I have a whine in engine compartment when truck is running and gets louder when the rpms go up , I believe it may be a pulley or a tensioner , I was looking on rock auto and was wondering what parts I would need to replace the faulty ones . Also how would I go about finding out which pulley it is , take them all off and give them a spin , there should be slight resistance , not excessive rolling right ?? Also , looking in rock auto , there's pulleys that say a/c ? Not sure which ones to get . On top of all my questions and rambling , anything else to look for , and motor craft brand would be the best when replacing the parts , correct ?
One last thing , replace drive belt while its all apart ? Which brand belt ? I've heard Goodyear gator backs are good ,
Thanks for any feedback and help ! Much appreciated.

David.

First thing to do is take your belt off and spin all your pulleys. Tensioner, idler, a/c , and power steering. I would say you are hearing your power steering pump whining.
