I have a 2000 ford f150 4.6ltr v8 4x4 with a hesitating engine.it takes awhile to get started and almost dies when put in reverse or any drive gears, i have checked the gas pressure when the truck is runnin and shoots out of the fuel rail plug thingy not sure wht its called just wondering if any one has any suggestions on how to fix this .p.s also changed plugs and wires

 

First thing is pull the codes, see what is failing.
