2011 F-150 ecoboost with 29000 miles I've got the K&N air filter system and super chips tuner, the truck has a cough that you hear and it sounds awful, does it mainly under load going uphill, any suggestions...took it to dealer, no codes but it isn't normal my dad has same exact truck with no cough!!

 

Does your dads have the same aftermarket parts on it? I'll bet not. Anytime you mess with part of the motor/computer, by adding bolt on parts, you're asking for trouble. In my opinion the K&N air system is a waste of money. It's only making sounds that make you think you're getting more power. The super chip is just asking for trouble like you have now. Go back stock, you'll probably fix the issue
