Engine Code P0282
New to this scene. Thanks for all your posts and information that I've used in the past. So I have a simple question with hopefully a simple answer. Here's the scenario.
2018 3.5 EB, 45k miles, well maintained. I have a rough low idle, regardless of use of accessories like AC. I ran a scan and performed the PCM KOER diagnostic. It came back with the following code, P0282 Cylinder 8 Injector Circuit Low. So, while I'm mechanically inclined, I'm no mechanic. How does a V6 produce this code? What am I not aware of? I am going to try a different scanner tomorrow if I can get to the auto store. In the meantime, any insight as to what may be happening would be greatly appreciated. Here's some further background. I took it in to get evaluated by the dealership. They stated they found nothing out of the normal with their scans. Please feel free to ask questions, as I am sure I left holes in the information. Again, thanks everyone

Most likely, it's a misread of the fault code, either by the "scan tool" or the code was misread or incorrectly transcribed or the KEOR test was incorrectly executed.
P028x codes would only be expected on a Ford with a diesel engine and "P0282" DTC doesn't appear to have been used by Ford since the 6.0L was retired.
