Default Emissions Trouble

Hi all, I am new on here. Found the forum in a egr search. I have a 98 f150 with a 5.4. I changed 1 hose, cleaned the egr valve and put on a new dpfe. Truck still run bad at steady speeds, with some lose of power also. Well I found 2 boots off the pvc y that had holes in them. I replaced one, have another coming in in the mourning. Have 6 inch piece of hose sealing the line now. Truck is still running rough, but now it will not idle. I am getting PO153 and P1132. Reader says bank 1 is running lean and bank 2 slow response, running rich. Will O2 sensors cause it not to idle? the other thing is at NAPA, we had the Y from the pvc inside. Well it ended up with all the boots off. There is no check valve in it, but it dose have a flow arrow. If any one has a picture of the y hooked up, It would be great!
