Default Emissions Control Warning Intermittent

Just got back to Riverside, CA Monday 11/23/2020 from our first trip pulling the trailer and as I got off the freeway, this warning light came on and the engine began running rough. After a couple miles, the light came back on and the engine began running rough again. Got home and put the trailer in the driveway, then looked up the warning light. It has come back on briefly once driving locally without the trailer. Hope it's an O2 sensor issue and not the cam position sensor, won't know til I get the codes pulled. Anyone know of a good Ford place in my area?

More diagnostic work needs doing. Any codes? Don't assume it's an O2 sensor issue. More likely it's doing its job and indicating an issue with the way the engine is running.
Most likely you would know best of a good place to have it serviced in your area not someone in parts unknown on the web.

Did you miss the part where I stated I'll know better once the codes were pulled? I did not diagnose, I stated a less costly 'hope'.

Are you not aware that stating the city I live in and asking for recommendations is in fact a GREAT way for someone new to an area to get recommendations from people who live in or lived in my area?

We had a great shop near our former residence that is 40 miles away and I have a Goodyear credit card but last year ALL 80 or so in our area and down to San Diego were sold to another chain of tire stores.

Asking for referrals is actually quite smart.

You write a paragraph with your problem, what are you expecting? Sympathy?? If you didn't do anything to troubleshoot or want any suggestions for your problem and just wanted to bore everyone with your story, why bother? I gave you some advice and you get bent out of shape because I mentioned codes. Good luck with your problems.

You excel at getting it all wrong. You had no useful input for my situation. you derided a referral request for no good reason and then you responded yet again with NOTHING to add. I didn't get bent out of shape, just irritated and quite frankly, amused........BRAVO!
