Default Electrical Questions

I have two problems.

First my 12V input to the right of my instrument pannel will not work and I cannot figure out why. I have tried switching fuses but that seems to do nothing at all. The other input underneath the instrument pannel works just fine.

Also for some reason the only light I get to work when using my trailer hook-ups is the left stop light, break light, and hazzard light. No other lights work when I plug them in. I have switched all the fuses but again they do nothing. Could it be the whole wiring harness?

Default Worth its weight in gumballs:

The problems you describe are difficult to diagnose without the aid of an OEM-equivalent service manual with all its electrical diagrams.

If you don't have a manual, or don't have access to one, then let me strongly suggest you get a subscription to "ALLDATAdiy". I have a subscription I use for my 97 XLT and it works pretty well. The price is fairly cheap as well.....much cheaper than a hard copy manual.

Alternatively, you could go on Ebay or Amazon and search for an appropriate manual on CD. I have several Ford All Model OEM manuals on CD that give good info.
